Thankyou. Your point about relationships is where I'm working and practicing, trying bravely to step there. A small part of that has been Waving Hands through Clouds as a deeper listening. But of course there are no small parts, only how we are able to hold them all without holding. That's where the relationships are so important, I think, because all those connections - the line, the space between them all - are holding you.

Good to hear about your tai chi and the significance of different places. I’ve been practicing for about 18 months and have been fascinated by the consequences, which are playing out in my life and writing. Terri

This piece is so very wise and real and good. It reminds me to do what works in my own spiritual practice, to make changes when I am stale, to adapt to the seasons, inner and outer. Thank you for including my poem. Brigid

Great to hear this Jane, Thich Nhat Hanh’s call to move with life and psyche reverberating through connection. Interested to hear what change of practice emerges for you.

I love the quote about doing what works, until it doesn’t and then I change it. Having just hit a stale spot in my meditation practice, it has helped me see my staleness not as a fault to be worked through, but as an invitation to welcome change, an opportunity for expansion. It popped up in your post right on cue Sally. Timing couldn’t be better, of course! Thank you
