What a heartfelt and encouraging commentary Sally. Iโm still dithering over Substack, reading heaps, recommending lots, especially through my little โStories in our Timesโ group. But I recognise your experience of Substack in camaraderie and conversations in that โStoriesโ activity. Itโs another prompt to action. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your generous mention Sally. It has been such a joy and honour to have these conversations with you, and to share in your insightful and hopeful writing- thank you xx
This is great, Sally! I love your posts regularly dropping into my inbox. Always fresh and from the heart. I'm still mooting getting a substack account of my own going revolving around cli-fi and eco-fiction, intertwined with the personal. One day...
Meanwhile, I shall continue to look forward to and enjoy your offerings. Warm wishes, Maggie
Thanks so much Maggie, I am so sorry I missed your webinar last week hope to make it to the next one if it happens. Sounds like it was a great conversation ๐
Thank you Sally. I have just dived in with my first post and your writing is deeply encouraging and nourishing. During my first few weeks on Substack I am loving finding the resonances between people, across the world, an affirmation of the collective consciousness I believe is growing strongly during our troubled times
Thank you for this, just what I needed to read today, as I had a wobble about why I am here.... I came because I had words trying to tumble out of me that needed somewhere to land, but found a world full of beautiful voices and a community trying to grow something more meaningful... This reminded me being a part of that no matter how small is something special... X
Hi Catherine, I love your Newsletter and why you are here on Substack. Your nature practices are beautiful and you write them up with such a warm invitation. Small is indeed beautiful and very much what is needed ๐ฑ๐
Hi Sally, thank you for sharing these reflections on your writing process with Substack. It is good to see that you are not only giving - but gaining! - so much from your engagement here. My own relationship with Substack I am finding at present is perhaps closer to the role of 'quiet witness' to some of the many amazing writers active here. I am so glad that your beautiful piece Psyche's Nest was instrumental in your arrival on Substack too. Onwards! ๐ค๐ฑ๐ช๐๐
Thanks you Suzanne ! Your invitation to write Psycheโs Nest for Quadrant was such an opening for me , I am very grateful. Quiet witness is a beautiful way of being here, but do hope that one day you might consider jumping in with a Newsletter as you have so much to contribute to community ๐
Thanks for that encouragement Sally. Life seems to be requiring my energy in other directions during what's been a very long transitional phase, while I continue to listen with discernment to follow Psyche's call.
โThe old binary between being inside or outside, in human world or in โnatureโ, has given way to a continuum of connectionโ what a lovely way to describe it! Congrats again. Xo
