Such a powerful and thoughtful message. Thank you for reminding us to face the underworld and the importance of staying inspired as sustenance for moving in a forward trajectory, Sally. Im reflecting on a video my father sent to me not too long ago. It was on the cocooning process for a caterpillar. A key part to the process of forming the cocoon, is to create friction and resistance - which in turn creates the sticky matter that it blankets itself in - an essential and necessary part of the life cycle/rebirth of the caterpillar. We must face the friction, the resistance in order to create and gain new life and understanding for our new body and perspective as a butterfly, or perhaps in this case, our new defined myths! Animals and insects are constantly showing and teaching us the way 🙏🏽✨🦋

Thank you Alicia for this beautiful ecological description of another form of descent and suspension on the road to transformation. Love your story here, when we think about how we share DNA with a caterpillar, makes sense that its process of maturing can resonate with us, especially when we allow the language of myth in. So much we can learn from tuning into teh more than human world.
